Millions of people in Asia and Africa are still waiting to hear the message of hope and forgiveness in Jesus for the first time. Indigenous missionaries are faithfully ministering among these people, sharing the good news of God’s grace and mercy, but they need a team of “senders” to stand behind them and equip them for ministry!

By serving behind the scenes at GFA World’s UK office (or any other support-country office!) we the GFA World staff members link believers in our own country with the indigenous missionaries and workers in Asia and Africa. Together, we enable National Missionaries to do life-changing work with those who have never heard about Christ. Additionally, the fact that we can impact thousands of people by doing this work is simply mind-blowing!

Each of us staff members have heard a call from the Lord to work behind the scenes, serving national missionaries in Asia and Africa, and the church community worldwide. Our service is more than a job—it’s a calling.

In 2006 I heard a GFA speaker talk and I suddenly understood how desperate so many people on the other side of the world are and how my privileged existence was only available for an elite few. I joined staff a few years later, ready to give up everything. I found a community of grace, love and patience. I found a small family within the Church focused on reaching people with the love of Christ.

We love for our staff members to…

  • Be practising Christians who desire to grow in knowing the Lord Jesus Christ
  • Say “amen” to the Nicene Creed and GFA World’s Statement of Faith
  • Possess Right to Work in the UK
  • Have fluent English communication skills
  • Have a desire for those who don’t know Jesus to encounter Him
  • Work in a spirit of humility, willing to serve whatever way is needed
