Why Winter Clothing?
Can you imagine living high up in the mountains and not having a warm jacket or gloves or hat to keep the cold out? So many of our GFA workers who are serving their communities experience freezing temperatures on a regular basis without having any kind of winter clothing to keep them warm while they work or look after their families or share the love of God.
Harsh winters force so many people indoors, which hinders villagers from finding jobs and can limits a pastor’s ability to minister the communities around him!
Changing Lives Eternally
Through our national workers, we have the opportunity to change lives not only here and now, but eternally in Asia. Did you know that around 80,000 people die every day in the 10/40 Window? Some children may go their whole lives without ever hearing about the love of God. We can make a choice today that will forever change the fate of those who have yet to hear.
How can you help?
Winter clothing packets help GFA workers stay warm, healthy and able to minister during cold seasons. They also demonstrate Christ’s love in very practical ways to mountain villagers or to the homeless.
Depending on the region, a winter clothing packet may include: a blanket, a jacket, a sweater, other warm items.
